Mark Boccuzzi has had a life-long fascination with parapsychology and the paranormal.

Mark has spent the better part of a decade investigating and researching survival of consciousness and psi phenomena both in the field and in the laboratory.

His research interests include survival of consciousness, applied intuition, psychokinesis, distant mental interactions on living systems (DMILS), and Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP) / Instrumental TransCommunication (ITC).

Currently, Mark is the Director of Operations and a medumship / survival researcher at The Windbridge Institute for Applied Research in Human Potential with Dr. Julie Beischel, the former co-director of the VERITAS Research Program at the University of Arizona (now closed).

Mark is also a research specialist in the Laboratory for Advances in Consciousness and Health under the direction of Dr. Gary E. Schwartz at the University of Arizona where he studies Energy Healing, Entity Communication, and Effects of Intention on Biological Systems (with Lynne McTaggart).

In addition, he conducts field research into ghosts and hauntings with his group Tucson Paranormal. Mark also trains other paranormal groups in his research methodology (C.O.R.E.) and the proper use of investigative equipment.

He currently resides in Tucson, AZ.

History
Mark holds a BS in computer science with a minor in broadcast communications from Salem College (Salem, WV). He has over ten years experience in technical project management having worked on both consumer products and research and development projects.

In 2005 he successfully completed the Summer Study Program in Parapsychology presented by the Rhine Research Center and the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS).

Additionally, Mark spent six years in survival of consciousness research investigating spontaneous cases of apparitions and related haunting phenomena in Northern California.

Originally from the software industry, Mark was Executive Producer of Consumer Entertainment at Human Code Presage and was an assistant producer / producer at RedOrb Entertainment (a division of Broderbund) where he was a co-producer of Riven: The Sequel To Myst DVD-ROM and other adventure game titles. He still designs and develops indie graphic adventure games in his free time.

More recently, he was a Project Manager at the Exploratorium: Museum of Science, Art, and Human Perception in San Francisco where he worked on a wide range of research and exhibit development projects funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Major projects included the Microscope Imaging Station (under the direction of Charles Carlson and Kristina Yu, PhD.), GIVE (under the direction of Sue Allen, PhD), and Science in the Stacks with the Queens Borough Public Library (under the direction of Thomas Rockwell).
